This beautiful Rose from the Basque country is perfect with tapas or to drink on it’s own.  Intense with notes of fresh wild strawberries; red fruits, lime, and slightly effervescent. We love this wine with our Cured salmon and wine poached asparagus, Tortilla española and Gilda skewers

Holiday Wine and Cava Dinner December 15th!

This December, we’re teaming up with August Wine Group  and The Spanish Table to spotlight some beautiful, small Spanish wineries we’re in love with.  The best part about this spotlight is that we’re doing it in the form of a wine and cava tasting dinner, so you can enjoy all the flavors of these fabulous wines, while also trying some of the incredible Spanish cuisine that Pintxo has to offer.

Wine Pairing: Giro Ribot, Rose Cava

Food Pairing: Steelhead mousse, large pasta shell, fish veloute and pomegranate dust

Course Two…

Wine Pairing: Beira Aral, Aravo Albariño

Food Pairing: Basque pimenton and ducle pimenton rubbed duck breast; persimmon four ways (fresh, pickled, candied, and powder)

Course Three…

Wine Pairing: Alta Vins, Tinto 

Food Pairing: Chorizo stuffed trotter; Farrow, mustard green and preserved lemon salad

Course Four…

Wine Pairing: Parmí, L’Infant

Food Pairing: Smoked chocolates with candied coffee dust, molasses carmel chards,  and vanilla bean filling.
