The Bacon Wrapped Dates eating challenge will consist of six contestants attempting to consume 50 bacon wrapped dates in 30 minutes. Contestants who successfully complete the challenge will win a years supply of bacon wrapped dates, one order per day for a year (valued at over $1500).
We’ll be choosing contestants from our Twitter, Facebook & Blog fans. Food Challenge contestants will be chosen from entries received via the restaurant’s Facebook/ Twitter/Blog contest. Contestants have from April 27, 2011-May 4, 2011 at 5pm to enter. Winners will be randomly chosen from Facebook, Twitter and Pintxo’s Blog and announced shortly after contest close.
How to enter:
On Twitter, users can enter by following @PintxoSeattle on Twitter and tweet one of the phrases below to:
-“Happy 1st Anniversary @pintxoseattle. Pick me for the #BaconWrappedDates Challenge on May 8th! http://bit.ly/mcFtuW”
Or a phrase of your choice, but must include the hashtag #baconwrappeddates, the link – http://bit.ly/mcFtuW and @pintxoseattle.
-On Facebook, users must “Like” Pintxo (www.facebook.com/pintxoseattle) and post on Pintxo’s wall (or post on their stream and mention Pintxo) why they should be picked to compete.
-Contestants can also enter by leaving a comment on this blog post stating why they should be chosen!
We will choose winners randomly from Facebook, Twitter and Blog Comments (each one is one entry, so enter on all three) on Wednesday, May 4 at 5pm. Two more winners will be chosen from the best post/Tweet.
